Workflow Testing

Learn how manually add a contact for workflow testing purposes.

Step 1: Create a Test Contact

  1. Navigate to SalesAi.
  2. Click Contacts on the left-hand side.
  3. Click Add Contact in the top-right corner.

Enter Contact Details

  1. Fill in:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Job Title
  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Location
  1. Click Add Contact.

This creates a test contact you can safely use for workflow testing (shown on pages 3–5).


Step 2: Locate the Contact

  1. Find the contact you just created in the list.
  2. Click the three dots on the right side of that contact.

Step 3: Enroll Contact into Workflow

  1. Click Enroll Into Workflows.

Select the Workflow

  1. Search or scroll to find the workflow you want to test.
  2. Check the box next to the workflow.

Important: The workflow must be Active to test (page 7).


Step 4: Start the Test

  1. Click Enroll Contact.

Your contact is now enrolled and the workflow will trigger based on its logic.


Quick Testing Checklist

Once enrolled, verify:

  • The workflow triggers immediately (or based on delay rules)
  • The correct agent is used
  • Calls are initiated as expected
  • Voicemail behavior works (if enabled)
  • Retry logic (double call) works correctly
  • Outcomes route correctly (no answer, transfer, etc.)
  • Delays and follow-ups execute properly
