Twilio SMS: Connecting a Phone Number to a Verified Campaign

Here’s a straightforward, step-by-step guide in text form:

1. Prerequisite

  • You must purchase a phone number in Twilio before associating it with a campaign.


2. Navigate to Trust Hub

  • Go to Twilio and log in.

  • Click Admin in the top-right corner.

  • Select Account Trust Hub from the dropdown menu.


3. Access A2P Messaging

  • In the Trust Hub interface, locate “A2P Messaging (SMS)” and click Go to A2P Messaging.


4. Verify Campaign

  • Click Campaigns from the left-hand menu.

  • Confirm that your campaign is marked as “Verified” under the Campaign Status column.


5. Link a Phone Number

  • Click on the Campaign SID of the campaign you wish to update.

  • Scroll to the bottom and click “Add phone numbers” in the Connected Phone Numbers section.

  • Select the desired phone number, then click Register.

  • Review and accept the terms of use by clicking Confirm.


6. Confirmation

  • After registration, the number will appear under Connected Phone Numbers.

  • Note: It may take a few minutes for the number to show up as the process is asynchronous
