Login: Navigate to the Twilio dashboard and click on Admin in the upper right-hand corner, then select Account Trust Hub.
-
Access SHAKEN/STIR Settings: In the Trust Hub, click on SHAKEN/STIR calling on the left-hand side. Familiarize yourself with the SHAKEN/STIR process by clicking Learn More. If you're doing inbound calls, you can find more info under Read the Docs.
-
Enable SHAKEN/STIR:
-
Click on Enable SHAKEN/STIR Trusted Calling when you're ready to start the setup.
-
You will be prompted to input a Trust Product Friendly Name, which Twilio provides a default for, but you can modify it.
-
-
Select Business Profile: From the drop-down menu, select the appropriate Business Profile for your calls.
-
Register Phone Numbers: Click Register Phone Numbers and choose the phone numbers you want to register for SHAKEN/STIR.
-
Certify Your Business Profile: You must check the box certifying that your Business Profile is the originator of the phone calls, and that the display name accurately represents your business.
-
Submit for Review: Once you’ve completed the setup, click Submit for Review to finalize the registration.
By enabling SHAKEN/STIR, you’ll increase the trustworthiness of your calls and reduce the chances of your calls being flagged as spam.
