Mass Import Contacts

This guide provides a straightforward walkthrough for mass importing a list of contacts in the SalesAI. Scroll through the steps below to get started:

Not a visual learner? No problem!
Here’s a straightforward, step-by-step guide in text form:

Key Points:

  • Required Fields: Ensure the CSV file includes First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Email. Other information is not necessary.

  • Avoid Duplicates: Duplicate entries can cause errors in the upload.

  • Upload Limits: You can upload up to 50,000 contacts at once, but smaller lists tend to have better success.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to SalesAi: Go to the platform and click Contacts.

  2. Import Contacts: Click Import Contacts to start the process. You will be directed to the Data Import tab.

  3. Upload:

    • Input the Import Name (visible only to you).

    • Input the Lead Source (e.g., Current Customers, Facebook Leads).

    • Upload the CSV file by either dragging and dropping or using the file search option.

    • Optionally, Download Example CSV File for formatting.

  4. Mapping:

    • Ensure First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Email are mapped correctly (automatic mapping happens for most fields).

    • For unmapped fields, manually select the best match using the drop-down menu.

    • Conflict Strategy: Decide whether to overwrite existing data (default is Don't overwrite).

  5. Finish Import: Click Finish Import once the file is mapped. The contacts will appear under Data Import and later in the Contacts tab.
