Duplicating an Agent
Learn how to quickly copy an existing agent to save time on configuration.

1. Locate the Agent
- Navigate to My Agents.
- Find the agent you want to duplicate.
- Click the three-dot menu and select Duplicate.
2. Confirm Duplication
- Review the duplication message.
- Click Duplicate Agent to create a copy of the selected agent.
Knowledge Assets are not included when duplicating an agent. After duplication, you'll need to manually reassign any Knowledge Assets to the new agent.
Phone numbers are not duplicated. A new phone number must be assigned to the duplicated agent before it can be used.
3. Customize the New Agent
- The duplicated agent will appear on the My Agents page.
- Click the three-dot menu on the new agent and select Edit.
- Update any settings, prompts, actions, knowledge assets, or other configurations as needed.
