Not a visual learner? No problem!
Here’s a straightforward, step-by-step guide in text form:

🔹 Before You Begin

  • Required fields: First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Email.

  • Avoid duplicates to prevent upload errors.

  • Max upload: 50,000 contacts per file (smaller batches perform better).

🛠️ Import Process

  1. Go to SalesAi → Data Import.

  2. Click New Import.

  3. Enter an Import Name (e.g., “7/2, Inbound, Webinar Leads”).

  4. Enter a Lead Source (e.g., Facebook, Form Submissions).

  5. Upload your CSV by drag-and-drop or file selection.

  6. (Optional) Download example CSV for correct formatting.

  7. Once uploaded successfully, you’ll see a green checkmark.

  8. Click Upload to proceed.

🔄 Map Fields

  1. Map CSV fields to contact properties.

    • Fields auto-mapped show “Yes”; unmapped ones show “No.”

    • Use the dropdown to map unmatched fields.

  2. You must include: First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone.

    • Custom fields must be created in Settings → Properties.

    • Unmapped fields are ignored.

⚙️ Conflict Strategy

  1. Choose whether to overwrite existing contacts with matching phone numbers.

    • Default: “Don’t overwrite” (recommended if unsure).

  2. Click Finish Import.

After Import

  • Your upload will appear under the Data Import tab.

  • All imported contacts will be available in the Contacts tab
