How to Assign a Number to an Agent

Follow this guide to assign a number to your Outbound or Inbound Agent.

Sections

Please note that a single number can be used for one inbound agent and one outbound agent at the same time. However, a single number cannot be used for multiple inbound or outbound agents.

For Outbound Agents

  • Click on Agents
  • Click on the Triple Dots of the Agent, Click Edit.
  • Click on the From Phone Number and select a phone number.
  • Make sure to Save your Agent.

For Inbound Agents

  • Click on Agents
  • Find the Agent and click on the Assign Agent To Phone Number button

  • Click the Assign button next to the number you want to select. You can click the Overwrite button to take a number from a different Agent. This will remove the number from that Agent and add it to this one.
